Privacy policy

This policy explains how DNT Property Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"), trading as DNT Stays, collects and uses personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data described here and we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Contact us

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email stays@dntstays.com or call 01634 944019.

Data we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, email address and phone number.
  • Enquiry and booking details: dates, number of guests, the type of stay and any message you send.
  • Guest information needed to manage a stay, such as arrival details and identity checks where required.
  • Technical data such as your IP address and browser type, collected by our hosting provider for security.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange bookings (taking steps to enter into a contract, and performing that contract).
  • To manage your stay, take payments and keep records (contract and legal obligation).
  • To keep our properties and website secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To send occasional updates about our stays, only where you have agreed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Sharing your data

We share data only where needed: with booking and payment providers, property partners who host a stay you have booked, IT and hosting providers who process data on our behalf, and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 24 months. Booking and financial records are kept for six years to meet tax and legal requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website uses only cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary for it to work. We do not use advertising cookies.
